Michelle Lim, Ph.D

Dr. Michelle received a B.F.A. from Pratt Institute in Painting and Drawing and an M.F.A.from

Columbia University School of Art in Painting and Printmaking. After teaching painting and

drawing as a freelancer, she earned a Ph.D. from Drew University in Theology and Religious Studies.

Dr. Lim has been teaching portfolio preparation classes for over ten years and has put many students

into prestige art schools, colleges, and universities. They are Cornell University, Cooper Union, Central Martins

College of Art in London, Parsons School of Design, Pratt Institute, RISD, and the School of Visual Arts.

She also advises students and parents on the selection of colleges and coaches the admission essays.

She served as a professor in Theology and Ministry at New York Theological Seminary for 10 years.
