ANNUAL SPRING RECITAL 2021

Hello Melody Institute Parents and Students!

We are happy to announce the return of our Annual Spring Recital this June*!
We are so excited for our students to have this opportunity to perform and showcase the pieces they've worked so hard on.

As with our Winter Recital, we will be following strict protocols to ensure the safety of our students and staff while doing our best to give you a quality recital experience.

Spring Recital 2021 will be held on JUNE 13, 2021 at our Saddle Brook location. The show will be available to you via live stream; an in-person audience will not be permitted this year for the safety of our students and staff.

Please read the following details thoroughly and carefully:

Students will be assigned to specific recital times for June 13th.
Students will need to sanitize their hands before and after their performances.
Masks will be required for everyone in the building. Students will wear masks while performing.
Only one student will be allowed inside the performance room at a time.
No live audience will be in attendance; only our videographer, announcer, and individual teachers will be allowed into the performance room while adhering to social distancing.
Parents will be asked to wait in their vehicles while students perform. A live stream link will be provided to all parents.
Students will leave immediately after their performance.
A VOD (video-on-demand) reupload of the recital will be provided for all parents/performers sometime after the recital date.
- DVD copies will not be provided this year.
Please provide a picture of the performer to the school by 5/30/21 via email. This picture will be overlayed on the screen with the student's name during their performance; please make sure their face is clearly visible. This does not need to be a formal picture.
Pictures should be sent to info@melodyinst.com with the performer's name in the subject line.
- Subject line should read: "Performer Picture: Student Name"

If you are not interested in participating in the Spring Recital, please let us know as soon as possible. We will need to know the exact number of performers so that we can arrange everything according to the COVID-19 protocol we will be following.

Please also speak with your/your child's teacher as soon as possible so that they can confirm your/your child's performance.

RECITAL FEE
$25

- Recital Fee will include a live stream link and unlimited viewing through our reuploaded VOD.

- DVD copies will not be included.

- Payment must be completed by 5/22/21
*Recital Fee will increase to $30 if paid after 5/22/21.

DRESS CODE

BOYS

Slacks, button-up shirt, dress shoes.
Jackets and/or ties are not required.

GIRLS

Long dress or skirt that covers the knees, dress shoes.
Hair pulled back or tucked behind the ears.
Dresses and skirts should not be above knee-length.

EVERYONE
MASKS ARE REQUIRED
*No jeans, tennis shoes, or t-shirts.
