Dana is an award-winning artist and fine arts graduate. She studied at the Florence Academy of Art, National Academy of Design, School of Visual Arts (Graphic Design), and illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Dana became a graphic artist and then a freelance art director post-art study.

Over ten years ago, Dana decided it was time to get back into the studio. She focused on oil painting, specifically on portraiture and the effects of light and shadow on the human figure.

Dana’s teaching method culminates in years of practical experience in portraiture, illustration, drawing, and painting. Her teaching style is a demonstrative and hands-on approach to the fundamentals and traditions of drawing and painting.
