Janine Colletti

Voice

Janine Colletti is an up-and-coming actor, singer, and stage director. She has been teaching voice since 2013. Janine has recently relocated to New Jersey from Phoenix, Arizona, where she received her master’s degree in Musical Theatre and Opera Performance from Arizona State University.

Though she pursued her master’s degree in Arizona, Janine already held a bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Ithaca College. While building her career as a classical singer, she has been enjoying success as a professional actress, acting with some of the premier theatre companies in the Southwest. She served as the summer Youth Musical Theatre Workshop program assistant at Binghamton University (the only pre-professional theatre program for young people in New York’s Southern Tier) for five years and directed for the Arizona State University and the Des Moines Metro Opera.

Ms. Colleti has been teaching voice since 2013 and enjoys teaching a wide variety of ages and musical interests. She brings her firsthand knowledge of the classical and musical theatre repertoires to her lessons to better train and cater to the diverse interests of her students; this ranges anywhere from pop to choral singing. Janine loves to bring her experience as a singer, actress, and director together to help young people find their voices!
